Dear Colleagues, RE: Request to vote for Michael Mayer for Member, IFCC Executive Board
I humbly request your Society's support and vote in support of my candidacy as Member of the new Executive Board of IFCC (2012-2014) in the election that will take place at the IFCC General Council meeting in Berlin, May 2011.
As summarized in the attached Curriculum Vitae, I have successfully pursued a career in laboratory medicine, practicing senior professional, academic (research and teaching), and administrative responsibilities. I have contributed to IFCC activities in several committees and in the Executive Board of the Education and Management Division, and served two successions as President of the Israel Society for Laboratory Sciences. I have proved, time and time again, that I am a hard working and competent representative in service of our professional community.
Based on my proven dedication, strong commitment, and years of experience, I respectfully ask for your vote in the upcoming election. If elected to the Executive Board, I shall be keen to actively contribute to the activities of IFCC with the same enthusiasm and sense of mission that I have demonstrated in previous tasks that I took upon myself.
As your representative, I will leverage my practical experience, solid values and common sense to advance the short and long term goals of the IFCC and help the Executive Board realize the full potential of our organization. I will specifically focus my efforts to meet the needs of our member societies in the areas of educational offerings, professional support, and appropriate recognition and status among Government Ministries and Agencies, regulatory bodies, the media, and the general public. Sincerely yours,
Michael Mayer, D.Sc.
